Teen Read Week - Great day discussing The Great Gatsby with teens around the county. We discussed the difference between the movie and the book while enjoying great snacks and drinks. Overall, we had a great day of camaraderie and in-depth analysis, convincing area teens of the value of reading a classic.

AWESOME SUCCESS with Magic Tree House Themed Zoom Party!!!

Virtual Zoom Book Party was a success!!! 💚💚💚 Our first ever virtual youth literacy event was so fun and lively! The kids were joined by their parents and siblings on zoom to participate in FUN mask-making crafts, unicorn cup crafts, dancing, and book discussions. We had four breakout rooms which rotated so all activities were completed. Everyone's enthusiasm added to the spectacular time of discussing  Magic Tree House ! We loved talking about magicians and unicorns with everyone.💚 We are so happy and grateful to have connected with the youth's love for reading through this event. Thank you to all who joined our magical mission! Beginning of the zoom! Planning with the team! Breakout rooms! A final thank you, featuring some awesome unicorn masks!
